Wimbledon 2012 3rd Round Draw

Wimbledon 2011 DrawWe lost just 4 seeds in the 2nd round but one of those seeds was two time champion and 2nd favourite Rafael Nadal. This now leaves a giant hole in the bottom half of third round draw and huge opportunity for all those players in that half.

Nadal fell victim to an inspired player ranked 100 in the world, Lukas Rosol knocked beat the Spaniard in a five-set thriller that finished under the roof of centre court late on Thursday night. It now must surely open up the draw for Jo-Wilfred Tsonga and Andy Murray.

The much fancied 21st seed Milos Raonic also went in the second round to unseeded American Sam Querrey, who is now finally begining to return to his best form. The other two seed eliminated in round 2 were 13th seed Gilles Simon and 22nd seed Alexandr Dolgopolov.
