In stark contrast to Murray’s singles match yesterday, Andy and Jamie Murray made a good start to their doubles campaign at the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament in Rotterdam.
They beat the French pairing of Julien Benneteau and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 6-3, 6-3 to reach the quarter finals.
The brothers are once again playing together again after winning their first ATP World Tour doubles title in Valencia end the end of last year.
The British duo today looked a convincing team converting three of nine break points to defeat their opponents in under an hour.
They will next face 3rd seeds, Mahesh Bhupathi and Marcel Granollers.
