Andy Murray and Rafael Nadal will meet for the first time in 2012 at the Miami Masters, lets take a look at their head to head.
Rafael Nadal has beaten Andy Murray more times than any other professional tennis player. They have played each other 18 times and Nadal has won on THIRTEEN occasions, leaving Murray with just FIVE Wins.
That 13-5 record though perhaps does not tell the whole story. Nadal won the first 5 matches between these two players, however since the US Open in 2008, when Murray recorded his first win against Nadal the head to record has been a little closer 8-5 in favour of Nadal.
Their matches in 2011 were all close afairs with Nadal just proving too strong in each of the first four matches they played. Murray finally beat Nadal in 2011 at the Japan open ending a five match winning streak for Nadal over Murray
Murray has never beaten Nadal on clay, where the record is 4-0. He has also never won on Grass, where the record is 3-0. Murray’s favourite surface, hard courts was the place Murray was competing with Nadal, their record on hard courts at one point was 4-4, but Nadal has now moved into a 6-5 lead.

Andy is the perfect match for Nadal. If he plays cooly without showing extra emotions over any points he scores, then he can surely silently kick Nadal out of Roland Garros. I firmly believe that Andy would make it to the final, remember Nadal is a survivor in this tournament right from the first round. He has gone enough already, time to kick him out!
