Good luck Andy!!!

It looks like it’s going to be a good start to the US Open tournament at Flushing Meadow today.

In the Arthur Ashe Stadium today we will see Jelena Jankovic (4th seed) followed by Justine Henin (1st seed) and the Roger Federer (mens 1st seed).  The organisers have put on an all American bash, in fact an all Williams bash later on in the Arthur Ashe Stadium as Venus and then Serena Williams (12th and 8th seeds respectively) will play their first round matches.

The Louis Armstrong Stadium will see Max Mirnyi and 18th seed Marcos Baghdatis battle it out for a place in the 2nd round, while on the Grandstand 4th seed Nikolai Davydenko will be playing his first match of the tournament.

Later today on the Grandstand our very own Andy Murray will pick up a racket and get to it against Uruguays Pablo Cuevas, currently at 129 in the ATP rankings.  Lets hope Andys practise week has done him some good and we get to see the confident Andy Murray who knows he can win…
