Wimbledon is one of the few tournaments that does not histrocally has not always seeded players exactly on their current ranking. Previous performances have come into their seeding policy in the past given players with good results at Wimbledon a higher seeding and lower seeding to those with poor previous results. this has not always proved popular with players.

It’s unlikely that Wimbledon will make any changes to Murray’s seeding, so he will likely enter the tournament this year as 11th seed unless there is any withdrawls. This will mean that the earliest possible round Murray will meet the big 4 – Nadal, Federer, Djokovic and Roodick will be the 4th round.
